We are a local, volunteer-led community group. We evolved from the Bridlington community during the 2020 pandemic. We have three committee members and 650+ members. Our aim is to bring the towns community by helping to arrange street trails. This is an all-inclusive activity that helps to promote our town, its community, and all businesses. We encourage people to reuse and recycle items when taking part in our trails.
We hold three trails a year: Easter, Summer (Seacrow trail) and Christmas. This year we will be holding special trails in June for the Queens Jubilee. The jubilee trails which will take place from 30th May – 12th June 2022 will be the Jubilee Seacrow trail, Royal post box yarn bomb and the bunting trail. The Seacrow is Bridlington’s take on a scarecrow festival, Post Box yarn bomb is a form of street graffiti in the form of knitting or crochet and the Bunting trail will have bunting made by the community and then it will be displayed from St Johns Road to Queen Street.
The event will be widely publicised on our social media pages. We also have a new website which people can view details and register for the trails.
To say thank you to those taking part we would like to be able to offer prizes. We are therefore asking if you would be willing to donate a prize, this could be in the form of voucher/tickets. We would promote your business on our website for 12 months and also via our other social media pages. If you feel you are able to help or would like further information when can be contacted via email firstname.lastname@example.org or you can use the contact form on our website https://bridlingtonstreettrails.org.uk
